Questi personaggi sono stati disegnati per cercare di penetrare nelle immagini del film Eraserhead di David Lynch. Non è stato possibile farlo se non attraverso la mediazione di un'altra artista illustratrice, Francesca Ghermandi. La messa in relazione dell'uno con l'altra è avvenuta per non si sa quale moto interiore ma proprio perché è avvenuta posso immaginare che tra i due intercorra qualche parallelismo che, forse, è il desiderio di trasformare la realtà manipolando ciò che esiste per creare in pochi passaggi qualcosa di cui non si sa niente prima. Grazie a David e a Francesca per i loro lavori sublimi, io a mia volta ho tirato fuori queste immagini per connettermi a loro.
These characters were designed to try to penetrate the images of David Lynch's Eraserhead film. It was not possible to do this except through the mediation of another illustrator artist, Francesca Ghermandi. The connection between one and the other occurred due to who knows what internal movement but precisely because it occurred I can imagine that there is some parallelism between the two which, perhaps, is the desire to transform reality by manipulating what exists for create something in just a few steps that you know nothing about before. Thanks to David and Francesca for their sublime works, I in turn took out these images to connect to them.
